Connor Zilisch, Signed to Red Bull Athlete Roster

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 13, 2024) -- Connor Zilisch has taken another major step in his rising motorsports career, joining the prestigious roster of Red Bull athletes. The globally recognized brand, known for its deep roots in racing, welcomed Zilisch to its team, marking a significant milestone for the young driver.

At just 18 years old, Zilisch is already regarded as one of NASCAR’s most promising talents. Competing part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Spire Motorsports, and the ARCA Menards Series with Pinnacle Racing Group, he has proven his versatility and skill across multiple disciplines.

Zilisch’s impressive journey has also earned him a development deal with Trackhouse Racing, the NASCAR Cup Series team co-owned by Justin Marks and Grammy-winning artist Pitbull. This partnership has allowed him to gain valuable experience across various racing platforms.

In August, JR Motorsports announced that Zilisch would take the next step in his career, moving to a full-time Xfinity Series ride in 2025. He will pilot the No. 88 Chevrolet, the same car he is driving in four races this season, further cementing his place among NASCAR’s future stars.

Even before reaching NASCAR’s national series, Zilisch made headlines with standout performances in sports car racing. He secured victories at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, proving his ability to succeed on some of the world’s biggest stages. Add to that his dominance in the Cube3 TransAm Series with Silver Hare Racing, ARCA Menards Series and a victory in the zMAX CARS Late Model Stock Tour, and it's clear why he has become a highly sought-after talent in the racing world.

By joining Red Bull’s elite roster, which includes motorsports icons like Shane van Gisbergen, Max Verstappen, and Sergio Perez, Zilisch aligns himself with some of the best in the business. The partnership also marks Red Bull’s return to NASCAR sponsorship, adding an extra layer of significance to this new chapter in his career.
