Connor Zilisch's journey in racing began at the age of 5, marking the start of a career that has quickly made him one of the most promising young talents in American motorsports. After a decade of karting success, including winning the prestigious FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2020, he transitioned to cars in 2021, immediately proving his skill across multiple disciplines.
Zilisch competed in the Trans-Am TA2 Series for Silver Hare Racing, including shattering the track record as a rookie driver at Virginia International Raceway in his first career start. Zilisch also raced Late Model Stock Cars, securing two wins at Hickory Motor Speedway along with multiple podium finishes.
By 2024, Zilisch made a name for himself on the national stage, delivering breakout victories in the LMP2 class at both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in his first-ever attempts. His stock car career also took a major leap when he won his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Watkins Glen, less than two months after turning 18—an achievement that put the racing world on notice.
Currently, Zilisch competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports and is signed as a development driver for Trackhouse Racing through 2025. His schedule includes select starts in the NASCAR Cup Series with Trackhouse as he continues to gain experience at the sport’s highest levels. Additionally, Zilisch is a Red Bull athlete, adding to his growing profile as one of the most well-rounded young drivers in the sport.
